Adjunct professor for the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Brescia, teaching the integrated course of Maxillofacial Surgery for the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery and the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics.

Increasing life expectancy is bringing to our
observation both patients with severe upper jaw
atrophy related to the loss of implant solutions
implemented years earlier and patients with
progressive loss of natural elements. Implant-
prosthetic rehabilitation is possible today, even
with immediate loading, thanks to the many
solutions available to the clinician. Among
these, the transinusal implant is becoming
increasingly important: The surgical procedure
of transinusal implant placement, its indications
and contraindications, possible complications
and their resolution is presented.
Participants will:
will improve their anatomical vision;
• will learn the latest and most developed
implant techniques in the field of severe
atrophy resolution;
will be enabled to present the biological
cost/benefit of the learned treatment to the
patient in the most appropriate way.
