A WIDE RANGE OF SOLUTIONS FOR PROVISIONAL AND DEFINITIVE DENTAL PROSTHESES
We have a catalog of over 2,000 prosthetic components, to support dentists and dental technicians in the creation of prostheses, both with traditional techniques and with digital workflow, for temporary or permanent prostheses, from single tooth to the full arch.
It has never been easier to obtain functionality and an immediate aesthetic result, thanks to the various temporary and definitive abutments, which can be used on all our implant lines!
For situations where the immediate loading protocol is not indicated, all dedicated prosthetic components are also available, such as healing abutments and cover screws.
In addition, we offer solutions for traditional and digital impression taking and for various prosthetic techniques:
Rehabilitations with cemented technique
Rehabilitations with screwed / cemented technique
Rehabilitations with direct screw technique
Rehabilitation with overdenture technique
COMPONENTS BT4 AND BT4 SLIM: ALL SOLUTIONS FOR THE ALL-ON-4® AND ALL-ON-6 TREATMENT CONCEPT
Since 1998, Dr. Paulo Malo has introduced the All-on-4® treatment concept to dentistry. This is an efficient solution, which allows patients to be offered fixed prostheses for full arches on the day of surgery, without the use of bone grafts.
The main features of this treatment are the possibility to give a complete arch rehabilitation thanks to four implants (or, in some cases, 6 implants), with two straight anterior implants and two implants with a maximum inclination of 45 ° in the posterior sector.
It is possible to obtain immediate loading and the return of functionality (with the use of a fixed temporary bridge) without the use of bone grafting, because, thanks to the inclination of the posterior implants, it is possible to use the available autologous bone.
For this treatment we have designed special BT4 abutments (Connection called BT), made with a short cone, for limited interocclusal spaces and with a wide shoulder to facilitate the positioning of the prosthetic reconstruction.
To help the dental technician in those situations in which he has to compensate the divergence of implants positioned with strong inclinations, we produce, for each of our implant lines, the BT4 angled abutments at 17 and 30 degrees, so he can parallel and level the prosthetic platforms. The technician will thus obtain a unique reconstruction platform that facilitates the construction of the prosthesis and frees him from the possible divergent positioning of the implant.
Furthermore, again for this technique, for restorations in aesthetic areas (frontal sectors or up to the emergence of the premolars), where the BT4 abutments are too bulky (both in terms of transmucosal heights and in terms of diameters), we have created a specific line, the BT4 Slim (with connection called BU).
X3 LINKS AND BT-GRIP CONCEPT: THE BTK SOLUTIONS FOR INCLINED HOLES
In daily practice, the dental technician needs to work with different heights of cement between the titanium base and the prosthetic structure, to have a greater support surface and make the prosthetic product stronger and more resistant.
For this reason, we have developed the X3 Link: a titanium base with two cutting options and 3 different heights available: 4.5, 6 and 8 mm. The X3 Link is available for our regualar implant connections (external, internal and conical hexagon).
Anti-rotation and mechanical retention are guaranteed by the design of the prosthetic component, in which there are two locking systems, while the exclusive flaring on one side of the X3 Link favors and facilitates the closure of the inclined holes, which, thus, can be easily managed with the BT Grip screwdriver with hexalobe head, up to an inclination of 25° with respect to the implant axis. The holes located on the incisal edge or on the buccal face of the tooth will be a distant memory, to the benefit of the aesthetics of the prosthesis.
Naturally, the X3 Link digital libraries are available for all the most common cad software and can be downloaded directly from the cad-cam section of the site.
TITANIUM BASE IN DIFFERENT GINGIVAL HEIGHTS
Prefabricated titanium bases offer the great advantage of getting a stable and very precise connection between the implant and abutment for an optimized load bearing and for removal of micromovements that might lead to bone resorption. At the same time, it helps to enhance the esthetics of an individually designed zirconia component.
Extra-oral gluing process gives full control of the procedure and any adhesive residue can be easily removed.
Ti-Bases are avaialble in 4 different gingival heights, thus providing solutions for cases of different gingival thickness and clinical procedures.
Short gingival height will be useful when final restoration close to the implant level is preferable (esthetic zone), while long gingival height will be useful in cases when a high emergence profile is required (e.g. Subcrestal placement).
BTK CONNECTOR: THE VERSATILE OVERDENTURE ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
The Connector abutment is our overdenture abutment, extremely functional due to its small spaces and the effectiveness of its geometry.
Dentures, anchored with Connector abutments, improve the quality of life of patients with total dentures.
The TiN coating of the abutment protects against wear, reduces the risk of loosening, is completely biocompatible and increases the resistance to fatigue failure. The coating applied to titanium is chemically inert and very uniform. The golden color provides excellent aesthetic results and is extremely resistant. The Connector abutments are sold complete with the relative retention caps, for divergences of up to 40 ° between two implants (20 ° per implant).
OPERATIVE PROTOCOL
Remove the healing abutment and measure the tissue depth to select the proper abutment cuff heights. If implants are divergent, measure the angle to determine the replacement male indicated, use the angle measurement guide (cod. 540MA015) and the parallel pin (cod. 540MA016.04).
Place the Connector Abutment into the retaining Sleeve on the Abutment Driver (gold end of the Loca- tor® Core Tool). Place the abutment into the implant and thread into place until finger tight. To verify
the insertion torque use the handpiece driver (cod. 530HS015 – 530HS016) or driver for torque wrench (cod. 530JD029). 30Ncm maximum insertion torque.
Place the Impression Coping onto the abutment and push down to snap into place. Syringe impression material around the coping, fill the impression tray and place it into the mouth.
Press the Connector Abutment Replica into the impression coping in the impression. Pour die stone into the impression to create the cast. Place the block-out spacer over the replica. Press the Metal Caps with the Black Male onto the replica. Process and finish the overdenture on the cast around the Metal Cap.
Remove the Black Males from each Denture Metal Cap using the Locator® Male Removal Tool, portion of the Locator® Core Tool.
Place the Locator® Male attachment selected for each abutment into the Denture Metal Cap using the Locator® Male Seating Tool.
To reduce the loss of soft tissue morphology, both at the level of the papillae and at the level of the buccal wall, which undergoes a bucco-lingual and apical contraction of the tissues that occurs with traditional healing screws, we have developed a new series of healing screws made of PEEK. These ANATOMIC SCREWS are made of PEEK, a material that has demonstrated excellent characteristics in biomedical use, such as long-term biocompatibility and the total absence of residual solvents. Another advantageous characteristic of this material is its high resistance to abrasion and corrosion, despite having a degree of hardness and elasticity similar to that of bone tissue. The revolutionary anatomical healing screws in PEEK are customizable, maintain and preserve the natural emergence profile of the molar, limiting contraction. Available for KR conical connection in sizes 5×5, 6×7, 8×8.
A kit for their milling and polishing is also available.
