IS KONE implants are indicated for single or multiple unit restorations in splinted or non-splinted applications.
They are suitable for two-stage or single-stage healing combined with immediate, early or delayed loading protocols if sufficient primary stability and appropriate loading is ensured. Restorations range from removable / fixed single crowns to partial / full dental arch restorations or overdenture applications to restore the masticatory function and appropriate aesthetics.

The key feature of the IS KONE concept comprises a standardized endosseous screw-type implant body combined with tree different prosthetic connections offering maximum versatility based on a single implant thread type and a corresponding surgical kit.

IS KONE is a highly versatile type of implant line as it offers three different abutment connections either external (EXT) or internal (INT) hexagon, or as a third option the well-proven 11° (MTH) hexagon having regular (KR) corresponding prosthetic components. It shares the surgical kit with BT SAFE, BT NANO and IS+.

IMPLANT CHARACTERISTICS

This bone-level, root-shaped and self-tapping implant offers a back-tapered, micro-threaded smooth neck portion of 0,8-1,15 mm and is well suitable for most indications. IS KONE is placed at bone level and offers both, healing modes. The single-lead square thread pitch on IS KONE measures 0,9 mm for all diameters including Ø 2.9 mm / Ø 3.3 mm / Ø 3.7 mm / Ø 4.1 mm / Ø 4.8 mm / Ø 6 mm.

MATERIALS Our implants are made of commercially pure, cold worked titanium Grade 4 and feature the DAE (dual acid-etched) surface.

RELIABILITY The implant is particularly used in bone with a medium-low density, for single or multiple restorations on frontal or posterior teeth by preferentially deferred loading protocol.

PROSTHETIC CONNECTIONS BT KONIC adopts an internal (INT) or external (EXT) hexagon connection with corresponding narrow (EN), regular (IR / ER) and wide (IW / EW) prosthetic components.

GUIDED SURGERY A careful planning of the surgical case through a fully digital workflow and the subsequent production of the surgical guide (3D Pilot).

The new BTK’s IS KONE implant has a diameter of 2.9 mm studied to facilitate the operating protocol when, in unfavourable conditions, it is requested a less invasiveness surgical approach. This implant is mainly recommended for relative narrow ridge and when a limited space between anterior teeth is present for example for maxillary lateral or mandibular incisors. In fact, small diameter implants are not recommended for the posterior region or site with a very low bone density.

SIMPLICITY REDEFINED ONE KIT

The surgical tray is used for the secure storage and sterilization of surgical and auxiliary instruments of the IS KONE system.

The surgical tray is made of a highly shock-proof thermoplastic, which is well established in medical applications and the material is suitable for frequent sterilization in the autoclave. General guidelines for the cleaning and sterilization are given in the corresponding “SURGICAL MANUAL”.
